The Coalition Essay Topics That Provide an Insight Into the EnvironmentCoalition Essay Topics 2020 is out and it's shaping up to be a strong year for journalism. Every major news source has enlisted prominent organizations to contribute essays to this year's sample. Organizations like The American Civil Liberties Union, Apple Inc, Greenpeace, IBM, Google, Wikipedia, the American Medical Association, The William Penn Foundation, and the United States Conference of Mayors.
These organizations are in fact highly powerful organizations in their own right. However, they have long been on the forefront of social justice causes and are an ideal place to begin when writing an essay. Even so, it is a good idea to not jump into any of these with any preconceived notions of what they do or what the other essayists may write. The point of coalition essay topics is to allow for a wide range of thoughts from individuals within different fields, organizations, or work. This also allows for the variety of ideas to stand out and be discussed in an engaging manner that allows for reader interaction and ultimately, research. It also allows the writer to be creative and written in a manner that comes across as well written and polished. As the past two years have shown, those with non-profit works have been recognized by the news media, even if the topics were somewhat controversial. From the organization 'Wag The Dog' that helped reduce the size of President Bush's penis to the non-profit Project Inform, the media has also recognized political and civil liberty oriented issues that are useful in an essay, including the group's MoveOn and D.C. Teachout. Of course, both of these are commonly used by politicians and public servants when they are being asked to write and contribute essays. What makes these essays so interesting is that the topics are often related to politics, but the inclusion of the word 'political' often causes readers to view them as more than that. The topics chosen for Coalition Essay Topics are chosen with the intent that they be on topical issues of national or international importance. Some examples are 'Achieving Security for Our Women' (group Greenpeace, ACLU, Apple, IBM, Google, The California State Assembly) and 'Bailing Out Wall Street' (Wikipedia, government, Occupy Wall Street) and, of course, 'Climate Change' (Google, The William Penn Foundation, Adbusters). Other topics include 'Making Climate Change a Human Rights Violation' (AGAIA, The American Medical Association) and 'The Future of the Internet' (IDEO). At least one person who is famous as of late has recently contributed essays to the Coalition Essay Topics of 2020. Actor and activist Leonardo DiCaprio has penned a series of essays that focus on renewable energy, one of the last bastions of the Green movement. In a statement to CNN, DiCaprio spoke on the importance of the environment: 'When we talk about environmental protection, we have to talk about more than, you know, saving our planet from global warming,' he said. 'We have to talk about how we're going to continue and we're going to have a global economy. I'm trying to make people understand how our products affect the world around us, because I think it's very important that people understand the ways in which they can contribute to protecting the Earth.' DiCaprio went on to state, 'It's all going to be clean and renewable energy. That's my motto, my promise to you.' In the end, DiCaprio's passion for the environment is what will make his contributions to the Coalition Essay Topics of 2020 so appealing to those involved in environmental initiatives.
